The St.
Vincent de Paul Society is an Catholic lay organisation which
assists people in need and works to provide justice for all. Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Parish has a St. Vincent de Paul Society
Conference which is part of the Parramatta Diocesan Council.
A number
of Wentworthville parishioners are members, or volunteers who
support the Society. Members visit people and provide support,
friendship and material assistance. Wentworthville also has a
Vinnies Centre, where some parishioners work as volunteers.
